best coaches

The coaches have been doing an excellent job. Yet, expect the team to get even better. Ismail, Shirdon's dad, who is a veteran soccer player said that he will be able to help coaching the team from now on. Thanks Ismail.

The official scores show the Shoreview game result as 8-1. I thought it was 9-1. Sorry about that. I'll correct it below.

Lightning 7-3 Ramsey Rockets

This was a fun game. After I picked the pictures to post, I noticed that Zack was in 3 of them. It is OK though, I liked these shots.

The score could have been even higher. Rockets got lucky as shots bounced off their goal post several times.

Shoreview 1-8 Lightning

Lightning was on a roll today. Way to go guys!
Big congrats to Shoreview team as well for their sportsmanship! They never gave up, and got a goal towards the end.

Lightning 2-3 Blaine

Ligtning put up good effort against a strong Blaine team. There were several simple mistakes in defense, and the Blaine team was able to turn them into goals. Lightning can do better as they gain more experience.

Lightning 7-4 Chisago Lakes Tigers

Starting off the season by winning the first game today. It was played in the home court and under light rain. Good start.
